Double Duty Makeup!!!- Ben Nye Final Seal

24 May

Do you like a stronger setting spray that can transform your makeup?  Ben Nye is your guy!

Ben Nye

What this is –

From the Fantasy Costumes site: Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer: Apply over any completed makeup for smudge and water resistance. Final Seal keeps makeup in place on performers who heavily perspire. Add to Liquid Paints (about 10%) for greater durability or spray over finished makeup. Take precaution around eye area and on sensitive skin.

BUT this can also –

  • Make your own waterproof liquid eyeliner (mix desired powder eyeshadow and Final Seal, apply to eyelid using thin brush)
  • Waterproof your eyeliner (dip a thin brush into Final Seal and run over the eyeliner you are wearing)
  • Waterproof your mascara (apply mascara, dip a clean spoolie in Ben Nye,  apply to lashes)

Be careful doing any of the above.  If you get this in your eye, it will sting.

This won’t make it completely waterproof, but it won’t run in heat, sweat, rain, or someone for some odd reason splashing you with water.

Fantasy Costumes is a local Chicago company that sells TONS of professional and stage makeup, for really good prices!
