Review! Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Mascara

12 Jul

I heard some good stuff on YouTube about this mascara,  so last time I was at Ulta I picked it up.  Because it was on sale for like $5.50!  Go me!

I bought the Waterproof version because my endless problem with greasy eyelids.   I have to say, this is probably the most waterproof mascara I’ve ever used.  It’s really waxy, so this sucker really sticks to your lashes.  It honestly takes me two days to fully get it off.  And I’m using an eye make up remover, people!

So obviously, if you are being cute at the beach or pool or the zoo on a hot day, this will work wonders for you.

Will not smudge, budge, flake, or in any other way behave in a way you don’t want your mascara to behave.

On the downside, it won’t leave you.  It’s like Paris Hilton, it doesn’t leave and it looks a lot messier in the morning.

Seriously though, this has legit staying power.  Creates nice volume and length.  When I find a  better eye makeup remover, I will love this mascara.

This is my absolute favourite waterproof mascara. Do you get Johnson’s in the states? I use Johnson’s make up remover wipes to take this off.

Do try the regular, it has serious staying power but comes off more easily. My favorite mascara!
