Review – Michelle Phan em lipstick review

I received a Creamy Color Sheer Lipstick in Hug Me from Ipsy in November.  It retails for $16.50. This is not my favorite lipstick in my collection.

 Here is why:

This color is the absolute gross on me.  It matches my skin tone, and I honestly thought this was a stick concealer when i first opened the package.

The formula is really strange.  It may be due to the wrongness of the color for me, but as you can tell from my picture it applies unevenly.  It looks like I have a film on my lips.

Not cute.

It seems to be moisturizing enough, so I may wear it around the house as a balm.  It doesn’t seem to work very well as a base or gloss for under/over lipstick.

So yeah…

Did anyone get this  color or another color and loves the formula?

I’m sorry to say but ditch that lipstick even as a balm, a cheap tinted balm would be miles better, and thank you for the honest review. We can all learn by it.

I don’t understand why that colour exists. It wouldn’t be flattering on anybody.

I haven’t tried anything by Michelle Phan’s cosmetics yet and probably never will due to so many mixed reviews.
Thank you for sharing this honest review.

Really? Most everything I’ve seen has been positive. What else is getting a bad review?
