Review – Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black and White Perfume

17 Jan

I was lucky enough to get the last samples from my local Sephora of these cute perfumes.

If you are not familiar, Elizabeth & James is the fashion company owned by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.  Yes, THOSE Olsens.

YOU GOT IT, DUDE!

Anyway, I have been very eager to try these scents.  As I predicted, I liked the Nirvana Black much more than the White.  The White is too floral for me and makes me think of my Grandma.  The Nirvana Black smells like a sexy candle, in a good way.  I really like it – but I am not going to be purchasing it.  The reason for this is that it has no staying power on me.  After about 3 hours its completely gone, and I even made other people smell me -FOR SCIENCE!  For $70 for a 1.7oz bottle, I want staying power.

I really wish it worked for me.  I love the smell and the packaging, but its sadly a disappointment.  Maybe your body chemistry will work better with it, but make sure you go get a sample first.  Sephora makes samples of ANY of their perfumes.  Super handy as all perfumes smell different on different people.

That’s too bad! Lack of staying power is annoying when the perfume is expensive! Good to know about this one from the Olsen twins-

Nirvana Black is amazing it is everything they say and more. I just received it as a gift from my man and he absolutly loves it.
Staying power lasts all day long with my body chemistry and gets better as day goes by. I guess this perfume is just meant for some people.
