Review – they’re real! push-up liner

31 Oct

Kassi got a few samples of these bad gals – the new cult favorite, they’re real! push-up liner

I love how it looks like a little sword!  Benefit came to duel!

you killed my eyeliner, prepare to die!  (sorry, I couldn’t resist a Princess Bride reference)

they’re real! push-up liner is very different from any eyeliner I have ever used.

The formula is thicker, almost like a paste.

Surprisingly, it is really easy to maneuver around your eye.  Have trouble with the “flick”?  This will flick you, no problem.

Why I like it

It’s super dark and matte.

Really easy to apply

Doesn’t transfer easily

Does get closer to your lash line than other eyeliners

Slight complaint

It does smudge a bit after a few hours, and I used a primer

Would I purchase?

Most likely, yes.

It is pricey for an eyeliner, but in line with the higher end lines. It retails for $24.00

I don’t know how long it lasts since I only have a sample.  No clue if it dries out quicker than a liquid liner in a pot.

Have you tried the push up liner?  What do you think?

I got a sample of it recently too– I agree it was super easy to use, but there’s something really heavy about the formula where I kept feeling it on my eyelids! So much so that I had to remove it after only 20 mins. Maybe I’ll get used to the feeling, but I don’t know.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! x

Interesting! Weirdly, I thought it didn’t work well with the Urban Decay Perversion mascara, the overall effect of both was too heavy.
